As an assistant producer/designer on this project (EA did not have the title of Game Designer at this point in time and all designers were producers), my focus was on gameplay balance and the front-end UI.

Additionally I am credited for common designs found in all of EA’s PSP launch titles including:

  • NBA Street Showdown (mini-game designs/prototypes as well) (PSP)

  • FIFA Soccer (PSP)

  • Tiger Woods Pro Tour (PSP)

  • MVP Baseball (PSP)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owner/Designer of front-end menus and UI

    • Collaborated closely with the UI graphic designer to develop a distinctive menu experience that was well received across the business unit for breaking away from EA’s traditional design conventions.

    • Collaborated with Marvel Comic’s Terry Dodson on character representation and environmental backdrops and included some custom pieces for the game.

    • Designed the media player found in all of EA’s PSP launch titles.

      • Playback of audio tracks.

      • Playback of music videos.

  • Designer of gameplay balance

    • The “Imperfects” had custom fighting skills/styles.

    • Critical role in selecting the unique character for the PSP title, Captain America (I basically wouldn’t shut up until he was selected.)
