Release date:
March 2000
Studio:
Electronic Arts Canada

This was my first project directly involved with an art team. This was also my first time dealing with art pipelines for the PlayStation and working within its limitations in terms of video memory and rendering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Process all art for export to the game engine.
Error checking 3D geometry for overlapping vertices and polygons
Error checking 2D textures for color bit depths and resolution
Error checking skeletal binding for animation issues
Hand sorting polys (PlayStation did not have a hardware Z-Buffer) in a custom 3D editor maintained by our Senior Software Engineer
Worked with the art team to define processes and best practices for generating art
Created a few textures for environment use including light reflections on the ice etc.
